Mandy found her passion for floral design when she least expected it. Growing up, she always had an interest in styling and design, so naturally this led her to attending and graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she then spent the first years of her career as a freelance wardrobe stylist. Always eager to travel and explore, Mandy began searching for more for herself and her career. It wasn't long after when she then decided to move to South Korea to teach English. This experience was life changing, and led to years of working and traveling throughout Asia and Australia. Mandy, a life-long city-dweller, became closer to nature than ever before.
After arriving back to her hometown of Philadelphia, she discovered her love of designing with florals by accident, when she went “all out” designing her sister’s baby shower. Mandy then decided to study her new passion at the prestigious Longwood Gardens, where she received her Floral Design Certificate.
Mandy loves playing with different shapes and exploring new techniques. She believes that loose, garden-inspired designs that celebrate movement, color and texture make the biggest impact of all.
